MODIFIED THE COLORS A TAD
Hey, anyone remember this story?! It's Rapunzel... or should I say "GROUNDED!!"
Yes, it's true, my Rapunzel adaptation finally has a title, and I couldn't be more in love with it! I was sitting in a car going to Michigan for an Adele concert, and while I was watching a show, one of the characters were told told that they were grounded.... and that word hit me like a brick, but in a good painless way. I loved the word grounded instantly because it can mean the typical fashion a teen is punished and it can mean someone who is well balanced and sensible, but what I really love is the irony of the title since Rapunzel is stuck up in a tower.
As for this story as a whole, I have a class in college that allowed me to pick any project I wanted to work on for an 8 week period, and I decided to go with this story since it's my longest running story that I always manage to keep coming back to. I'm very grateful for this project because about 2 weeks ago, I got some really great ideas to help this story stand out among other adaptations of the classic fairy tale.
Well, that's about it for now, I'm really hoping to get a move on with this story soon. Let me know what you all think of their designs, I'd really appreciate the feedback!
